We had 2 great examples of this yesterday. We had a new patient in the morning with extreme neck pain. He had spent the weekend debating going to the ER or coming to see us. He was nervous but willing to see how we could help him. We did a history, a thorough exam, and x-rays. We discovered that he had a pinched nerve in his neck. We will be able to help him. His first visit cost less than $150. A trip to the ER with an MRI could have cost him upwards of $3000. Financially, chiropractic makes sense.

In the afternoon, we saw a baby. He is the 5th child in a great family we adjust. The doctor found a "click" in his hip. They recommended the baby go to Chicago and have an ultrasound. We did an exam and found an issue with his pelvis. We adjusted him and the click was gone. What is the cost of a trip to Chicago for an ultrasound? I have no idea! But I know it is more than the cost of an adjustment.
